Transportation

Our city needs to do everything it can to both encourage more multi-modal options of transportation and reduce pedestrian fatalities in Los Angeles, where numbers remain troublingly high. We need to reimagine Vision Zero to ensure that we are doing our job of protecting Angelenos. To that end, we need to increase bike paths, increase pedestrian walking paths, and build systems of public transportation that talk to each other through partnerships with other cities and businesses

We need to bring to fruition the L.A. River Master Plan to connect every portion of pedestrian and bike paths for Angelenos. Meanwhile, we must reduce our dependence on cars by investing in more bus lanes, rail lines, and determining, through a full EIR, the best course to pursue for the Sepulveda Transit Corridor.

I am proud to have the support of former Assemblymember, MTA Board Member and Metrolink Board Chair Richard Katz and many others as we work together to address the best options to pursue for the present and future of our city.
